Globes were Peachy Keen

Another day, not just another red carpet. The Golden Globes are always a big one on the style police radar, and yesterday's turn out of pretty dresses in rainbow hues was a welcome change to the more-often-than-not drab choices from some of Hollywood's big names. We absolutely love the apricot and flamingo pink shades of Emma Stone and Claire Dane's gowns - absolutely complimentary to their hair and skin tones and beautifully summery!

 

Emma Stone

What she wore: A custom Calvin Klein Collection cap sleeved, open back dress in nectar silk crepe, Calvin Klein Collection gold oval clutch, Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry, and Ferragamo shoes.

Claire Danes

What she wore: Custom Calvin Klein Collection neon silk halter dress, Fred Leighton 1970's gold and diamond cuff and brilliant-cut diamond drop earrings, Calvin Klein Collection gold box clutch, and white satin Roger Vivier sandals that were specially dyed champagne for the event.

Fresh Beauty

Don't you just love when you discover a new beauty product that feels like it was made just for you? On my recent holiday to New York, and while on the Sex and the City bus tour, I came across a gorgeous store called Fresh on Bleeker in the West Village (right near Magnolia Bakery). 

I don't know if I am completely behind the eight-ball becauase I had never heard of this brand before, but apparently the stars of the show were big fans, and I can see why! Their gorgeous store welcomed me in with delicious scents and adorable sales assistants who were so helpful and introduced me to some of their most popular products. 

Now, I am not normally one to spend up on beauty products... I am a simple 'cleanse, moisturise and go' girl most of the time, but I couldn't resist their delicious fragrances, and in particular, the Fresh Brown Sugar Body Cream and Fresh Sugar Plum Lip Treatment.

Launched in 1991, co-founders Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg made Fresh the first company to pioneer the use of natural ingredients like suar, milk, soy and rice in modern day beauty treatments - and you can feel the difference in their products! I also received a sample of their Fresh Soy Face Cleanser and will definitely be adding this to my list of faves.
